Private Bordeaux Wine Tours
We offer two classic private Bordeaux wine tours: one in the Left Bank, the Médoc peninsula, and the other in the Right Bank, including the St. Émilion and Pomerol appellations.
Our Médoc Bordeaux wine tour is designed to reveal the character of some of the world’s greatest wines, produced in 6 appellations on the left bank of the Gironde including: northern, central and southern Médoc, St. Estèphe, Pauillac, St. Julien and Margaux. We suggest devoting four days to the Médoc Bordeaux wine tour, including one complete wine estate visit (with tasting) in each appellation, which yields the relaxed rhythm of two in-depth visits per day.
A Bordeaux wine tour that expends so much time on just a few vineyards may seem extravagant. Taking a tour devoted only to wine appreciation is, in and of itself, a luxuriant act. We believe you will profit from taking enough time to savor each step of the way. If you have more time to devote to your tour, we can make an even more complete itinerary. Of course you can also opt for including other appellations, such as Pessac-Léognan, Graves, Barsac and Sauternes.
In our Right Bank Bordeaux wine tour we suggest wine estate visits in Pomerol and St. Émilion. If you wish we can also include great value wine estates in appellations such Blaye, Bourg, Fronsac, Lalande de Pomerol, St. Émilion satellites, Castillon-Côtes de Bordeaux and Entre-Deux-Mers.
Our approach to wine touring gives you the leisure to relish each visit fully, and allows time both for viewing sites of general interest, and for appreciating fine wines in their best context: accompanying relaxed meals where the wines are complemented by superb regional cuisine that highlights and elicits the subtleties and complexities of the wine itself. As we suggest only one vineyard visit per appellation during our tours, we can either include your personal favorite for each or suggest our own, not always from classified growths. We do not adhere slavishly to classified estates and frequently avoid first and second growths because often they lack the motivation to provide a warm welcome or make efforts to explain what sets them apart from their competition.

“Shahin,
Just a quick note to let you know how much we enjoyed the tour of the Loire Valley [Custom Loire Valley Day Tour from Paris of 2 chateaux and 1 wine estate]. Let me start by saying the best part of the trip was meeting you and listening and learning about the history of France and specifically Chenonceaux. Your comments and guidance throughout the day made the experience far more than just a sight-seeing trip. Lunch was great and so were Amboise and the wine tasting. I can’t thank you enough for putting this tour together for us, we will enjoy the memories for years to come.
Merci beaucoup,”
