Private Provence Wine Tour
Our private Provence wine tours draw a bead on the most exciting wines of a far-flung region. By encompassing Bandol, Cassis, the Côtes de Lubéron, Côtes de Provence and the Coteaux d’Aix-en-Provence, you will explore some of the most promising producers and sample the charms of Provençal countryside, culture and cuisine. Paris Luxury Tours will be pleased to assist those of you who wish to stock your cellars by assisting with arrangements to ship wine purchases home.
Our Provence wine tour can begin accompanied by our highly knowledgeable bi-lingual guide in a 3-hour TGV (high speed train) ride from Paris to Marseilles, where we will collect an upscale rental car and suggest driving to near-by Cassis for an initiation at the beautifully situated Presqu’ile restaurant with its wonderful views of the Mediterraenean and Cape Canaille. There, you may begin your tastings of both Cassis whites and Bandol reds, possibly accompanying a memorable bouillabaisse. Later, we suggest visiting the Domaine Tempier in Bandol, for further tasting of some of the best reds of Provence. The day can end proceeding east to Aiguebelle, outside Levandou, where we suggest spending the night at the sumptuous Les Roches hotel and where you have the opportunity to dine at the nearby one star Le Sud restaurant with a meal construed with Côtes de Provence wines.
Day two of our private Provence wine tour can begin with a tasting of whites, rosés and red Côtes de Provence at the Domaines Ott. Later we drive north to the Domaine Richaume, just east of Montagne Ste. Victoire, for a tasting of Côtes de Provence red, white and rosé wines. We suggest taking a break from tastings with a late afternoon stroll in Aix-en-Provence, prior to driving northwest to spend the night at the beautiful Moulin de Lourmarin Hotel. There you can enjoy a meal conceived with Syrah and Viognier Côtes de Luberon wines at the hotel’s two-starred restaurant.

Our last tasting of the tour follows in the afternoon with a short drive to Lambesc where we will visit the Domaine Béates for a tasting of their Coteaux d’Aix-en-Provence wines.
Our private tour ends in the near-by Aix-en-Provence TGV terminal, where we catch the 3-hour TGV (high speed train) ride back to Paris.
“Shahin,
Just a quick note to let you know how much we enjoyed the tour of the Loire Valley [Custom Loire Valley Day Tour from Paris of 2 chateaux and 1 wine estate]. Let me start by saying the best part of the trip was meeting you and listening and learning about the history of France and specifically Chenonceaux. Your comments and guidance throughout the day made the experience far more than just a sight-seeing trip. Lunch was great and so were Amboise and the wine tasting. I can’t thank you enough for putting this tour together for us, we will enjoy the memories for years to come.
Merci beaucoup,”
